It’s a good idea to double-check your internet prior to trying the fixes in this article, as this may be the quickest solution. ![]() Since this error occurs when the launcher can’t download the required files, one likely cause is internet connectivity issues. ![]() Another potential issue is compatibility that arises from multiple versions of Minecraft (Bedrock vs Java Edition) on different Windows operating systems. To finish it up, I copied everything except the 'Install' folder to the new directory, the modpacks I've had installed before were visible again I could start them again without any issues, but I've had to do some downloading in the launcher after the login. Then I chose a DIFFERENT directory than the one I've had chosen beforehand and installed it there. I deleted 'Minecraft.exe' in my Curseforge directory under /Install and went back into Curseforge. ![]() Since the Minecraft Launcher in the Microsoft Store worked perfectly, I had figured that the problem was in the launcher which Curseforge was using to start Minecraft. ![]() I was trying to launch 'Dawncraft' over Curseforge, but I couldn't since the Minecraft Native Launcher update got stuck at the same spot every time I tried to open it. So, I've been resolving this issue for myself for like 2 hours now and since I couldn't find a fix online I thought I might as well spare anyone else the trouble since I got it working for myself. ![]()
